Aurora Think About Sickness

sometime we are good and sometime we are bad ..

sometime we eat our favorite meal but sometimes we cant even imagine it ..

that is life always up and down . we  can not still at the same level .. oK now let me talk about what is sickness ?

in my world : been sick is been alive . why ?

feeling pain is one of the rules in the life everything has a opposite , if you laught today you will cry tomorrow

if you make something wrong .... it will attract what is wrong to you

but it is so beautiful to find somthing helps you in your daily life. for exemple, i have to take my medicines 3 times a day. but sometimes and when i have some works to do i forget to take it, i think Im not the only one :) im sure there is some one in your entourage that forget always to take his medicine the problem is that every time i return to the doctor and he repeats the therapy from the beginning. then he me that i have to buy a medicine reminder or anything alse to not skipping the medicine .. ok now i have to search for it . i thought that is not cool to buy a medicine reminder and take it with me where ever i go ... I told my friends about that and they advice me to find a simple app in my android phone and all will be fine .. i search in the app market about a reminders i did find some but i dont really enjoy working with some of them are complicated others has some bugs . than i contact the developer  of the app of yoga that i had already, he told me that he did develop a medicine reminder he send me the link i install it and i like it . so simple to use and very helpful . i write the name of my medicine and the time between the doses . when it is time the phone repeat the name utile i stop it . i was so shy in the beginning to hear the phone read the medicine name in public . so i dont like it and i contact the developer again . he advice me to right just a symbole for the medicine or anything alse that you can understand that is the medicine time and witch one . then i got the idea to call every medicine by a name like jack or marry ... i like it so much and i did not skip any dose utile now im progressing . that is the app if you need it Medecine reminder .

Top 5 Exercises For A Flat Stomach

How many of you want that?

Top 5 Exercises For A Flat Stomach

We always want to know how to flatten our stomach (especially the women) and get sexy looking lines.
Although spot reduction doesn't work (for those of you who don't know what this is it is the theory that you burn fat around the muscles you are exercising e.g. burn arm fat with a bicep curl and lower leg fat with a calf raise, sadly this doesn't work) there are things you can do to improve your stomach area.
Many people believe that the way to get a six pack is to do sit up after sit up. It takes around 250,000 crunches to burn a pound of fat, so it's going to take a long long time with that approach!
In reality the main way to trim down your waistline and stomach fat is in the kitchen but there are exercises you can do to give it that flat, athletic and sexy look.

So here are the five best exercises for developing a well chiselled midsection:
1 HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training
This is the biggest one for me. The amount of calories you burn doing HIIT compared to steady state cardio is massive, plus you're done in half the time. This is a method of exercise where you alternate between going at high level of effort for short bursts and slowing to a more moderate "rest" pace e.g. 15-20 sec burst followed by 30-40 second rest, then repeat. A typical session lasts from 15-25 minutes depending on your fitness level.
A cool thing about HIIT training is you don't just burn the calories during exercise you burn them after (for up to 48 hours) as it keeps your metabolism raised. A Laval University study shows that HIIT helps subjects burn nine times more fat than those who trained the traditional way. Also, doing HIIT can help preserve the muscle mass that you already have, which you tend to lose with lower intensity activities.
2 The Plank
This is my favourite ab exercise (I'm not crazy) and one I use most with my clients. I think the plank is one of the most effective abs exercises. The plank helps to strengthen the abdominal muscles, but also works all the core muscles, the back and the hips.
It's a relatively simple exercise, (to perform but man it hurts) that's all you do is lie face down on mat resting on the forearms, palms flat on the floor. Push off the floor, raising up onto toes and resting on the elbows. Keep your back flat, in a straight line from head to heels. Tilt your pelvis and contract your abdominals to prevent your rear end from sticking up in the air or sagging in the middle.
If you haven't planked before try to hold for 30 to 60 seconds, lower to your knees, rest for a minute and repeat 2-3 times.
3 Bicycle or Cycling Crunches
This exercise is a great abdominal exercise to work on obliques (the side of your abs) and rectus abdominus (the long flat muscles along the front sides of the abdomen - 6-pack portion).
You fully extend out one leg while the other is bent and you touch your opposite elbow to the bent leg as if you are doing a twisting crunch. Then you repeat for the other side without taking any rest (as if you are cycling) or dropping your torso back down so the whole time you are doing them your upper body is in a crunch position. It's tough. Use as big a range of movement as possible until you fatigue then you can make the movement smaller.
4 Fitness Ball Sit Ups
Fitness ball sit ups should take the pressure off of your back and target your abs so well that the other muscles that usually come in to play during a sit up are left alone. Traditional sit ups from the floor can cause discomfort of the back and neck and I never do these with my clients.
Lie on the ball, positioning it under the lower back. Cross your arms over the chest or place them behind your head. Contract your abs to lift your torso off the ball, pulling the bottom of your ribcage down toward your hips. The idea is to roll the ball backwards as you crunch down so that your butt gets closer to the ground and then do the opposite on the reverse part. As you curl up, don't let the ball roll. Lower back down, getting a stretch in the abs, and repeat for 1-3 sets of 12-16 reps to start with.
5 Hanging Knee Raise
Final exercise is a hanging knee raise, this is another personal favourite of mine and is a great exercise for working the lower abs.
The only problem is you need a chin up bar/smith machine/roman chair to perform them properly.
The hanging knee raise should be done slowly whilst hanging from a bar. Raise your knees up towards your waist and then lower and repeat. You should never swing your legs in place but instead the motion should be controlled and your abs should be tensed throughout the whole range of motion (ROM). The best way to do this is to keep your mind focussed on your lower abs and make sure they are doing the work. If you can't hold your body weight yet try this movement lying on your back.
So there you have my top 5 exercise for a flat stomach.
Performing these exercises 2-3 times a week combined with a healthy clean nutrition programme and you'll be well on the way to that flat stomach.
Take care,

How to Treat Acne Naturally?

Acne - Acne not only appears on the face but also on other parts of the body such as the chin and forehead, well as the back. So how to completely get rid of acne without damaging our skin and health? In the following section, we will share with you how to treat acne using natural materials.
Treatment acne using egg yolk
Egg yolks have a lot of nutrients for the skin, especially Vitamin A, which includes retinoids that help adjust the number of skin cells produced, and thus prevent clogging pores. Vitamin A also contains 13 - cis - retinol which helps regulate oil and prevents bacteria. Apply egg yolk on your face for about 15 minutes and cleanse well, your skin will feel smooth and fresh.
Treating Acne using ice
It may sound strange, but one of the effective ways to remove dead skin cells, dirt and oil is freezing your pores. Wrap ice in a towel and use it to massage your face for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water to help clean the dirt. Finally, apply toner to complete cleansing process.
Treating acne using garlic
Crush 2 cloves of garlic, then rub it onto the skin of acne for 5-10 minutes. It will help deflate the acne spot. However, do not take too long because this can burn your skin.
Treating acne using Peppermint
Mint leaves contain anti-inflammatory oil, which is effective in reducing the red swelling of acne. You can crush mint leaves and apply on the face for 15 minutes, finally rinse with cool water. This method can be used frequently as it does not harm your skin.
Treating acne using honey
Honey is a natural antibacterial substance, so it can be used for facial skin care as well as dead skin cell removal. If you have acne and you want to appear beautiful on the next day, just apply a little dab of honey on the acne spots, then let it dry naturally overnight. The next day, the acne become significantly smaller or even disappear. You can use honey as a skin care mask: apply honey on your face for about one hour, and you will be surprised at how good your skin feels.
Treating acne using toothpaste
If there is no honey in the house, you can use toothpaste. However, you should note that the toothpaste must be white and must not contain gel. Just dab on acne overnight you will see a significant effect.
Treating acne using lemon juice
Lemon juice can be used in place of toner for natural acne skin care. Apply lemon juice on your face for 15 minutes will help clean dirt, oil and dead skin cells on the face. However, do not use it too often because lemon is highly acidic, it can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Just apply when necessary.
Treating acne using brown sugar
When bathing with warm water, your pores will expand. Use brown sugar to massage your face will help wash off the dirt, dead skin cells and oil that clog your pores, thus your skin will be smoother and more refreshed. However, do this only 3-4 times a month; otherwise it can make the skin more oily and worsen the acne.
Treating acne using egg whites
Not only does it have the effect of firming your skin, egg white also helps remove the oil layer. Apply beaten egg white on the face for 15-20 minutes, your skin will feel great afterwards.

Hair Removal Techniques - Pros and Cons

When it comes to hair in different parts of the body, there are different ways to get rid of it or maintain it if you decide to keep it. Looking good does not only effect what you only look like but also how you feel and can be a huge deciding factor in how much confidence you have in yourself or whether you lack any confidence t all. It is important to make sure you are aware of what hair type you have and what it will take to keep it in check and get your hair organized.
Hair reduction is an important topic for a lot of people. Everyone is different so some people may have more hair than others. For some depilatory creams and a razor may do the trick because the hair grows back slowly and is not such a big problem. For other people, it is simply not possible to use those methods because their hair is too thick and it grows back right away so they will literally have to shave every day to maintain the look they are going for.
There is waxing of course, and for some it works just fine. Other people may have sensitive skin and may burn fast. Others cannot stand the pain that waxing entails so that method of hair removal will not work for them either. What to do in cases when you do not want to wax and shave, use creams or even pluck hair one by one?
Laser treatments can be the best way to go in that case. The results will stay with you forever, and there is no pain involved at all. The time you spend on maintaining you body sculpted to your desires will be eliminated entirely because after the course of treatments the hair simply goes away. Besides, hair removal with the help of lasers is a procedure that is totally safe and pain free so you can enjoy yourself on the table and not think about anything at all. At the end of the day, that is what people are looking for when they want to get the best results in beauty treatments.
You can get rid of unwanted hair once and for all and will not have to spend too much time worrying about anything like that in the long run. This is a great way to save money on all those wax treatments and of course time that you would spend on beauty salons. In case of excess facial hair it may be one of the most effective ways of fighting the issue without having to worry about it on a daily basis or having the hair grow back at an inconvenient time.

Dialysis Information

The body is composed of a number of intricate systems that must work together to maintain functionality. Unfortunately, with time and disease, many of the different systems of the body begin to experience dysfunction. While there are a number of different external treatments designed to provide help for individuals who experience organ disease or malfunction, dialysis is one of the most common. Individuals who have been encouraged to receive dialysis therapy should have a solid understanding of the procedure before starting treatment. Identifying who needs dialysis, selecting a safe dialysis center, and determining potential alternatives to dialysis can also be beneficial for people who are considering this type of treatment.
What is Dialysis?
As stated above, having a solid understanding of dialysis is essential for individuals who have been encouraged to receive this therapy. According to the National Kidney Foundation, dialysis is a therapy designed to remove excessive salt, water, and waste by-products from the body. It is also intended to keep the levels of certain chemicals, such as potassium, sodium, and bicarbonate, in an acceptable range. Finally, receiving dialysis therapy can be an effective way to maintain safe blood pressure levels.
Who Needs Dialysis?
In the healthy body, the kidneys are responsible for many of the jobs listed above. It should come as no surprise, then, that individuals who experience kidney disease are most likely to be referred for dialysis treatments. While dialysis may be recommended on occasion for people with any stage of kidney disease, those who have been diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure are most likely to require the treatment on a regular basis. In certain cases, patients who have experienced physical damage to their kidneys-such as that which may occur during a car accident-may also be encouraged to seek short-term dialysis therapy.
Choosing a Safe Dialysis Center
As with other forms of outpatient therapies, finding a high quality dialysis center is considered by many patients to be a must. Traditionally, patients who have been diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure can expect to be referred to a specific dialysis center by their primary or renal physician. Before agreeing to on-going therapy, however, patients may want to do some research into the facility to which they have been referred. Talking to dialysis center administrators can be an effective way to learn more about the quality of care provided by a specific facility. While this can be a time consuming procedure, it is essential for those who want to ensure a positive outcome.
Alternatives to Dialysis
As with many other therapies, there are a number of options available to individuals who are not interested in participating in dialysis treatments. Kidney transplant, for example, is considered by most health care experts to be the most effective alternative to dialysis therapy. In certain situations, patients may be able to manage end-stage kidney failure with prescription medications alone. It is important to note, however, that patients who do not receive some type of medical or physical therapy for the management of kidney failure will likely experience a shortened life expectancy.

Asperger's Syndrome: The Cure?

In the bible it says " I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is a fruit of a tree bearing seed; to you shall it be for meat" Genesis 1:29. As you're probably aware, there has been an explosion of information regarding alternative medicine. "Incurable" diseases such as AIDS, cancer, and many other found to actually have cures that are very simple. Asperger's syndrome is no different. Etiquette training is indeed essential. However, traditonal treatment excludes the significance on placing emphasis on diet. The food we eat is what gives our brain the fuel it needs to function. Hippocrates could not of closer to the truth when he said, "Let thy food be thy medicine, and let thy medicine be thy food."
The brain uses fuel just like any other functioning organism. When fuels are depleted, it will begin to mal-function. If you have a car and you don't give it the gasoline that it needs, it will eventually stop working. Your mind is no different. Today's nutrition is filled with toxins and all kinds of things that are anti-brain friendly. So for people with Asperger's, their first step for change would be to change the foods they eat. You've heard of the term "junk food," foods that are high and calories and low in nutrition. You're first step toward recovery will be to consume the exact opposite, superfoods. Not only are there numerous pyschological benefits to nutrition packed foods, but there are tons of physical benefits as well. Below are a list of foods that a person with aspergers should prioritze.
1. Walnuts- Dubbed "The Brain Food," walnuts have the highest concentration of omega-3 fatty acids which the main fuel your brain uses to function.
2. Leafy green Veggies- Broccoli, Spinach, and Kale in paticualr. These mighty superfoods are loaded with nutrients. I like to call the Gods of nutrition. Kale is considered to be the most nutrient pack food that exist. I recommend everyone include these into their diet daily.
3.Berries- This includes every kind. Blue berries, strawberries, Acai berries, etc. Not only are berries great for your brain, but they are great for improving motor skills. People with Asperger's have clumsy motor skills which makes it hard for them to have success in sports. Berries are great for improving this problem.
4. Beans- Beans are loaded with fiber. A lot of medical problems that people incure are really just a result of the colon being clogged. Beans are great for sending you to the bathroom and cleansing your body of the toxins it has accumulated.
5. Water- Water is the most nutritious thing you can give your body. You've heard the saying you can survive 3 weeks without water but no more than 3 days without water. Our bodies are 70 percent water so it is nothing short of essential to consume at least 8 glasses of water a day.
6. Carrots. I would like to place a special emphasis on this food. As you may know, carrots are the riches source of vitamin A which is essential for eye function. What a lot of people are unaware of is the role it plays in repairing damaged cells. The 3 parts of the brain which seem to be the problem source for people with Autistic disorders are the Amygdala, the Cerebellum, and the Deep Stem. The cells in these particular areas of the brain appear to be damaged. Vitamin A can both help repair these cells bring them to optimal function.
There are many nutritious superfoods that a person with Asperger's Syndrome can benefit from. These are just to name a few. Foods that are high- glycemic, have gluten, and dairy products should be heavily avoided. As time goes on, you'll begin to notice a significant change in your behavior thinking patterns and social skills. Purchase books on social ettiquete, learn the social norms, and do anything an everything that is good for your pysche.

Assessment and Treatment of Learning Disabilities

It can be disheartening to learn that your child has a learning disability. It is, however, very important to know that this does not mean that the child lacks intellect. Your child can be smart, yet still experience significant cognitive difficulties. Learning disabilities are characterized by a certain level of brain impairment to receive, store, analyze and process information.
Naturally, children with a learning disorder will grow up to be adults with learning disabilities, which is why early intervention is always preferable.
There are different types of learning disabilities, but in general, they will affect one or more of a person's cognitive abilities such as reading, listening, reasoning, writing and doing basic math. Certain learning disorders can also be linked to difficulties with motor skills. Almost without exception, individuals having a learning disability will also have problems concentrating, focusing and remembering certain information. Children with learning disabilities may hear, see and think differently as their brain operates in a different manner.
As a parent, it is important to identify your child's disability at an early stage so that your child can learn how to deal with the condition, or better yet receive specialized treatment of learning disabilities, which will make it easier for the child to process information. That, in turn, would improve all aspects of learning.
Types of learning disabilities
  • Dyslexia is predominantly a reading disability. It manifests itself in a number of ways. The child may not be able to comprehend the correlation between alphabets or words and their sounds. Skipping words even sentences when reading is quite common. Spelling may also be a challenge. Other typical signs that characterize dyslexia include taking a long time to read, mixing up letters in a word, and inability to retain read material.
  • Dysgraphia is a writing disability, which can become very restrictive when a child or an adult suffering from this learning disability is having difficulty with penning down their thoughts on paper. The child will typically have problems with grammar and with writing complete sentences. This disability is characterized by grammatically unclear and incomplete sentences. Other symptoms related to this disability include: poor grip of a pen or pencil and messy handwriting. The person may express himself/herself verbally well but unable to write thoughts on paper, coherently.
  • Dyscalculia, is a math-related disability that affects the recognition of numbers and the understanding of simple mathematical concepts. The symptoms include: inability to recollect a number sequence, confusion with numbers that look similar, problems during money transactions like counting money or calculating change, difficulty with basic mathematical functions like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Even simple counting and telling the time could be difficult for those experiencing dyscalculia.
  • The auditory disability also called Central Auditory Process Disorder (CAPD, or APD) involves a child's auditory processing ability, which affects understanding of information received verbally. The signs to watch out for include inability to follow instructions, inaccurate pronunciation, inability to understand conversations or part of them, sensitivity to background sounds, difficulty with processing any type of information that requires listening.
  • Nonverbal learning disorder (NLD) also referred to as nonverbal learning disability has to do with nonverbal skills. The condition manifests itself in poor fine motor skills and coordination, poor social skills, although the child may do well academically. This disability shows itself through signs that include the inability to discern facial expressions, questioning more than usual, complaining about being frequently misunderstood, difficulties with reading, writing, doing math and inability to handle any disruption in their daily routine.
  • Visual Processing disorder disrupts a child's ability to handle and process information received visually. The symptoms include: poor spelling, copying words and getting disorientated while reading.
  • Aphasia is a language-based disability that affects the child's ability to express their thoughts and understanding of both written and spoken language. Signs that indicate this disorder include difficulty with understanding written material, speaking incomplete sentences or unrecognizable words.
  • Dyspraxia also known as Sensory Integration Disorder and is a learning disability that affects fine motor skills (such as writing, using tools like scissors or buttoning a shirt) and/or gross motor skills (such as running, jumping, throwing, hitting or catching a ball). The condition is also characterized by poor eye-hand coordination.
A learning disability is often combined with attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD). Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems with kids (and adults) experiencing a learning disability, is that they suffer from low self-esteem and low self-confidence, which can have a detrimental effect on their performance and achievements in life.
Assessing your child's disability
Assessment of learning disabilities consists of various steps- testing of learning disabilities and specific aspects of the learning process. Lately, more modern neuro-cognitive assessment tools have been developed to point out specifically different cognitive deficiencies.
New technologies to assess frontal lobe function have helped in both assessing and treating all types of learning disabilities. While teaching kids how to improve and better deal with their deficiencies is important, correcting deeper neurological structures in the frontal cortex is very important. Neuro cognitive therapy and training have shown excellent results in the treatment of learning disabilities with marked improvement on all levels. Improving brain regulation combined with developing core cognitive skills such as visual processing, auditory processing, divided attention, multitasking, and working memory, can contribute to considerable and permanent gains in cognitive performance and significant reduction in symptoms.
The ACEclinics in Toronto, Canada, headed by Bob Gottfried, PhD is a pioneer in this field. The clinic specializes in assessment and treatment of, learning disabilities (LD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), non-specific neuro-cognitive deficiencies and memory disorders.

How Does Early Intervention Make A Difference?

Deficiencies and problems in each autistic child are unique and cannot be classified under broader groups. Hence, the types of treatment for each autistic kid or adult is typically designed intuitively and creatively so that the person can take part in certain activities without having any adverse reactions. Treatment for autism varies based on each case, making it absolutely crucial to figure out as much about the patient as possible before designing the treatment chart.
Early intervention and early education can help an individual unravel his/her shortcomings and learn to deal with them in an effective way. Behavioral therapies or medicines, or a combination of the two can help in dealing with the child's problems. Autistic children usually have accompanying problems such as seizures, gastrointestinal distress and sleep deficiency. Proper treatment of these disorders can help in improving the individual's attentiveness and focus while increasing his/her ability of retaining data.
In the early stages, behavioral therapy requires cooperation between the professional treatment group and the autistic individual's family. There are often cases when the sessions are held at an affected individual's home. Treatment programs involve parent training so that the parents can also hold sessions under the guidance and supervision of trained professionals. Sessions are otherwise carried out in specialized centers, preschool or classrooms.
Methods of therapy and intervention are often flexible and open-minded so that tweaking is possible so that it suits the particular requirements of the affected person. For example, when an autistic kid joins a school, he/she would reap the benefits of specialized teaching approaches while developing fundamental social skills. On the other hand, autistic adolescents are better treated independently, as they can learn well from vocational skills which help them find the right modes of employment.
Autism early education can help an affected child learn a lot about their problem and help correct it in due time. Among the most popular treatment options for autistic children are the Early Start Model, and the Lovass Model. Other behavioral treatments include Floortime, Pivotal Response Therapy and Verbal Behavior Therapy - all of which have yielded excellent results.
While these treatment methods can help your child to deal with autism, it is essential that the child is diagnosed at an early age because it makes it easier for them to grow out of the disorder. Early treatment can help your child grow and perform to the best of their abilities and live a healthy life.
When faced with issues involving disability medical care, finding the right resources for early intervention online can be difficult. It is important to discuss your options and solutions with your doctor, before searching online for answers regarding your condition.

When people talk about expensive drugs, they usually are referring to drugs for high cholesterol ($1,500 a year), for schizophrenia ($7,000 a year) or for cancer ($50,000 a year). But none of these medicines come close to making of the most expensive medicines on the planet exclusive survey by Forbes.
Most of them treat rare genetic diseases that afflict fewer than 10,000 patients. For these diseases, there are few if any other treatments. So biotech companies can charge pretty much whatever they want.
Soliris
At $409,500 a year, is the world's single most expensive drug. This monoclonal antibody drug treats a rare disorder in which the immune system destroys red blood cells at night. The disorder, paroxysymal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), hits 8,000 Americans.
In the inverted world of drug pricing, the fewer patients a drug helps, the more it costs. Before testing Soliris for PNH, They tested the drug for rheumatoid arthritis, which afflicts 1 million Americans. The trials failed. But if it had worked for arthritis and would likely have had to charge a much a lower price for this use, as would have to compete against drugs that cost a mere $20,000.
Elaprase
Three other drugs cost more than $350,000 per year. Elaprase ($375,000 per year) treats an ultra-rare metabolic disorder called Hunter's syndrome. Just 500 Americans suffer from the disease, which causes infections, breathing problems and brain damage. Last year domestic sales of Elaprase were $353 million.
Naglazyme treats another rare metabolic disorder and costs $365,000 a year, according to investment bank Robert W. Baird. Viropharma predicts that sales of its Cinryze, a treatment to prevent a dangerous swelling of the face, will increase from $95 million last year to $350 million several years from now. The drug costs an estimated $350,000 a year.
Pills
Unlike pills that come in standard doses, all the most expensive drugs are injected biotech drugs whose dosing varies by weight or other factors.
Amazingly, many brutally expensive cancer drugs don't make the cut. Targeted cancer drugs only help a small minority of patients for a few months. This reduces their average cost. Folotyn treats a rare type of lymphoma and costs $30,000 per month. But the average patient is only on the drug for just a few months, so it doesn't make the list.
Nonetheless, the price of each new rare-disease drug seems to get higher each year. It used to be that pricing a drug at $100,000 per year raised eyebrows. Now that price level has become routine.
Review
Selling drugs for rare diseases has become immensely profitable. There are so few patients that companies don't have to invest as heavily in marketing. The medicines usually get paid for by insurers or governments. The manufacturers give their drugs for free to uninsured patients.

Lifestyle Changes for Preventing Breast Cancer

Statistics show that 1 in 3 American women will suffer with some form of breast cancer. Wouldn't you want to try to prevent this from happening if you could? Maintaining a healthy weight and a healthy lifestyle is important to all aspects of your physical and mental health. But there are more things you can do to help specifically ward off breast cancer:
Snack on walnuts. A 2 oz. daily snack of walnuts slows breast cancer growth 50% or more in five weeks according to the American Institute for Cancer Research. These nuts have powerful antioxidants that stall the growth of abnormal cells on contact.
Brussels sprouts can reduce the cancer risk by 40%. This cruciferous vegetable is loaded with indole, a compound that stops tumor growth the same way chemotherapy drugs do. Other indole rich options are cauliflower, broccoli, bok choy, watercress, kale, collards and turnips.
Women who walk or work out three to five hours a week cut their risk of breast cancer in half says Harvard University researchers. Physical activity reduces levels of cancer fueling estrogen.
Try to get at least 15 minutes of sunshine every day, or take 1,000 mg. of Vitamin D. This has been shown to reduce breast cancer risk 30%.
Incorporate 2 tbs. of ground flax seed in your daily diet to reduce your breast cancer risk as much as 72% a study at Johns Hopkins University suggested. Flax contains compounds called lignans, which help your liver break down and excrete harmful hormones.
A spice that has recently risen to number one status in the spice world is turmeric! It is strongly proven to fight in warding off all types of cancer. Renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties, this spice contains curcumin - a compound known to interfere with chemicals that cause inflammation. It is helpful both when ingested and when applied topically to skin conditions or injuries.
A popular drink made in the Nutri-Bullet food extractor (to reap the full benefits and nutrients from your food) is called the Turmerific: in the Nutri-Bullet cup put 50% spinach leaves, piece of pineapple, piece of papya, 1/4 lime, 1/4 lemon, 1/4 grapefruit, 1 tbsp. flax seeds and 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder. Fill with water up to the MAX line on the cup and extract and blend away.
Start off with one healthy shake a day made in your Nutri-Bullet (there are many healthy recipes in the books that come with the Nutri-Bullet) and before you know you'll be thinking - why didn't I start this sooner?

Scabies Treatments For Inside Your Home

Scabies is a medical term that is used to describe some tiny parasites which burrow tunnels under the human skin to lay eggs. They cause the scabies disease that is extremely painful with itching and rashes. The treatment for the body is often through the use of an insecticide such as Permethrin. If you have this disease, you should know that it's just as important to use scabies treatments for inside your home because they can live as long as forty-eight hours outside of the human host.
Basically this means that scabies could still be on bed sheets, towels, and linens even after the treatment is completed. It is slight more difficult to get rid of the scabies from inside the house, but this task doesn't have to be overwhelming. You can follow the guide below to do this.
Scabies Treatments for Inside your Home
First, you have to ensure that the prescribed cream is applied to your body for the recommended time when treating everyone in the house. It makes more sense to get the scabies mites off the host before cleaning the house.
After that, you can start the cleaning by stripping the sheets from the beds and removing all the linens from chairs or sofas with seat covers. Once you are finished with all this, you should collect the clothes and towels that were used during the period. You would then wash all of these items in hot water and then use the hottest cycle to dry them. Turn up the water heater to more than 130 degrees F to do all the washing.
The next step is to put all the soft items such as throw pillows and stuffed animals inside sealed bags. These are all the items that you cannot wash. Keep them inside the plastic bags for three days minimum.
A vacuum will come in very handy as one of the scabies treatments for inside your home. Use the vacuum to clean the entire house and then throw away the bag or wash out the canister immediately after. You should also disinfect upholstered items such as the stools, car seats and sofas. It is also wise to treat your domestic pets. A veterinarian can prescribe a medication or injection that you can use to get rid of scabies in pets.
Lastly, you need to bathe the children and clean up yourself after treating the house. The towels and clothes that you changed at this time should be washed thoroughly in hot water once again and dried at high heat. As long as you follow these tips and clean the entire surroundings, you should get successful results after using the scabies treatments for inside your home.
Treating scabies can be done at home using the ScabiesHomeCure.com guide and reading the ScabiesForum.com posts. Remember the longer you leave scabies untreated the longer both treatment and post scabies will last.

Understanding the Signs: What Are the Symptoms of Chlamydia

According to the Center for Disease Control, chlamydia is one of the most common STDs and, therefore, it is recommended that the symptoms of chlamydia are thoroughly understood. It is currently listed as the most common of bacterial infections caused by sexual interaction. Unfortunately, however, many of the symptoms of chlamydia are hidden or silent. Yet, there are some ways that you can protect yourself and things to look for in order to identify if you have become impacted. The following are some of the symptoms of chlamydia that you may wish to watch for in order to better protect your sexual and reproductive health.
Signs in Women
The symptoms of chlamydia vary from men to women. In women, the most common presentation of the disease occurs with an external release of vaginal discharge. Though discharge can be normal, vaginal discharge as a result of chlamydia is often thicker and appears more often than normal discharge. Women may also find that they have a burning or painful sensation when they urinate coupled with mild to severe abdominal cramping. For women, chlamydia is especially serious and can do extreme damage to reproduction and the future sexual health of the individual. Therefore, it is pertinent they be tested immediately for the disease.
Signs in Men
Men, too, have symptoms of chlamydia that are similar but not exactly the same as in women. There may be discharge, but this is much less likely than it is in infected females. Men are more likely to experience a burning sensation during elimination of fluids. Men that have chlamydia may also experience a swelling of the sexual organs and especially the testicles, which can become inflamed, enlarged, and extremely uncomfortable. If a man notices any physical changes or discharge, it is pertinent that a qualified health professional to ascertain if chlamydia or another disease is present evaluates them.
Silent But Serious
As aforementioned, symptoms of chlamydia may not be easy to spot. Often times, those who are infected do not have any physical changes or painful symptoms. If symptoms of chlamydia do present, it is often internally first and outwardly second. This means that the infection can be present in the body for some time before any noticeable changes occur. For this reason, it becomes that much more important to get regular checkups to screen for the disease, especially in women. Though the symptoms of chlamydia may not be distinct, they can cause severe problems and degradation of the female sexual organs and reproductive abilities.

Pleasurable Encounters Could Put You in a Scary Position

One of the scariest experiences a person can have is learning they need to get tested for STDs. The results can be life-changing, and produce problems in your love life. The only thing worse than knowing is the anticipation of the results with only possibilities hanging in the air. It's potentially worse than a 16-year-old holding a pregnancy test in her hand.
With all that stress in mind, you can at least set your mind at some ease knowing that tests for STDs are easy to get. You do have to ask for one, however, since tests such as a Pap smear or blood work do not test for STDs. There are different tests for STDs as there are many kinds of STDs. Sometimes you may decide you need one because a partner is diagnosed. Sometimes you have symptoms that are cause for concern. Talking it over with your physician is typically the best way to find out which test or tests you should take to be properly diagnosed.
Most doctors recommend regular tests for STDs for people who change partners frequently, since STDs can infect your body without showing symptoms. In this case, it's important to get on a schedule with your doctor. As uncomfortable as it can be talking about your sex life to a stranger, you should recognize that his or her perspective is purely medical, your information is confidential and getting treatment sooner will save you a lot of grief and most likely your sex life in the long run. Other options for finding out this information include Planned Parenthood and other clinics, depending on if you have health insurance, finances and your area. Whatever your situation, there is a resource that can work for you.
In obtaining tests for STDs, the process varies. Some are more pleasant than others. Sometimes blood or urine needs to be sampled. If you have discharge or visible symptoms, sometimes the doctor needs to invade the specific area like a gynecologist on PAP Smear Day. Usually it's not quite that uncomfortable, though. In testing for STDs, the doctor just needs to examine your symptom area, or take a sample with a cotton swab.
If you are under 18, you can take another deep breath with the knowledge that you most likely don't need your parents' permission to obtain testing for STDs. High school health centers and nurses can often be very helpful, providing tests for STDs, pregnancy tests and often birth control to students who need them.

Homeopathic Wart Removal

There are many wart remedies both in conventional, homeopathic, and home therapies. Warts can affect any part of the body exposed through contact with an infected person. Genital warts are warts that affect the genitalia. They can be found in the cervix, vagina, penis, or anus. They are caused by the HPV virus and transmitted through intimate contact and repeated exposure. They can present themselves in the form of a rough of smooth patch and can be large or small.
They have a potential to evolve into skin or cervical cancer. Most times warts are asymptomatic, but when they do present with symptoms, they could vary from itching, which is very uncomfortable, having a burning sensation, bleeding and pain.
It is therefore necessary to seek treatment as soon as you spot one so that you can avoid infecting others or aggravating the infection. If you are looking for remedies for warts, then read on and find out why homeopathic wart removal solutions are better than the conventional medicine.
There are many forms of treatment for warts but we will look into homeopathic wart removal mainly because these wart removal remedies not only deal with the outward presentation of a wart but also help boost your immune to avoid recurrence. Conventional medicine works to suppress your immunity and comes with a baggage of side effects that you will not experience if you take the homeopathic path of treatment.
Secondly, homeopathic wart removal solutions do not need a prescription and are sold over the counter or online from any natural food stores. You can also use homeopathic practitioners that can make a customized personal solution. Just check to ensure the practitioner is a degree holder in homeopathic medicines and not a self proclaimed herbalist.
Homeopathic wart removal solutions mainly consists of treatments developed from plants or compounds of nature and mixed together to yield a healing effect. This differs from home remedies which mainly consists of items readily found in your home. In the olden days, it was said warts could be cured by applying a duct tape over the wart. You can also apply apple cider vinegar. These are home remedies but homeopathic treatments are different.
It is also interesting to note that, HPV in men is a rarely discussed topic. Most HPV related information and medication is mainly geared towards women because of their higher risk for cervical cancer. However, men also get warts which can be frozen or surgically removed. Gardasil, the HPV vaccine, approved for women was also approved for men aged 9 to 26 in 2009. But the homeopathic solutions apply to both men and women. Here are some of these wart remedies:
Garlic patch made from crushing garlic and placing it on top of the wart and covering it there with a band aid. This will work to suffocate the wart and deny it oxygen necessary for its growth. The oil from the garlic works as an antibiotic, antiviral and anti fungal. Though this may take a while, after a few days of changing the patch daily the wart should turn black and fall off.
Vitamin A can be useful especially for external genital warts. You just need to apply it twice a day and they will dry and fall out.
Green tea, which is not only an antioxidant but is also an immune booster can be helpful to deal with warts. This is because people with low immunity are more susceptible to warts. Drinking the tea or taking the concentrated supplemental extract of the green tea can be helpful.
Over the counter herbal medications like Thuja occidentals or Ruta graveolens can be taken in appropriate doses to help you fight warts.
Do they work for everyone? Well, we are all different and it may work well for some and others may have to treat the warts for longer to get the full benefits. But the advantage is, they have so little adverse side effects its worth giving them a try.
I hope you find the above article helpful because this can be an embarrassing disease to deal with. For more helpful tips and information then look up - http://www.commonwartremoval.com

The Effects STD's Have on a Newborn Baby

The effects STD's have on a newborn can be detrimental, considering that newborns are much more fragile than a grown adult. The good news is that there is plenty of research and medications to treat the possible effects a newborn may experience should it be passed on to them through the womb. There are also treatment methods that can be used where a newborn will not experience any effects of an STD.
How Does HIV Affect a Newborn?
HIV is probably the most feared STD on the planet. What we often find especially sad is when a child is born with the virus and we know that their chances of surviving more than a few years of their life are pretty slim. HIV breaks down a person's immune system, thus leading them to be more vulnerable to illnesses and less likely to overcome them. The effects this STD has on a newborn would be especially terrifying, since a newborn's immune system is typically much weaker than a grown adult.
The good news is, however, many times if a mother is pregnant with the HIV virus the effects this STD has on a newborn can be limited or even completely avoided due to many medical advancements. Essentially, doctors can often prevent the STD from being transferred to the newborn. Any illnesses that a mother contracts during pregnancy become a priority as far as treatment due to the infected mother being so vulnerable to illnesses.
How Does the Birth Process Determine if a Newborn Will Get an STD?
Some STD's, such as gonorrhea, depend on the actual process of giving birth. The effects this STD has on the newborn can include spreading the infection to the eyes from being pushed through the birth canal. Cesarean sections are often the main solution to avoiding passing on this STD to a newborn baby during birth unless the infection can be taken care of before giving birth.
How Hepatitis B and C can Affect a Newborn Baby
Many STD's such as Hepatitis C and B are linked to premature birth and low birth weight. These effects STD's have on a newborn are risky. When a baby is born premature, they are sent to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the hospital and provided 24 hour treatment. During this time the newborn's vital signs are monitored, feeding tubes are provided and healthcare specialists try to make sure the baby has the treatment they need. Blood transfusions are also provided since the baby may not have the ability to provide cell growth and development.
Hepatitis B is linked to liver disease and the effects this STD has on a newborn may result in the development of chronic liver disease. Treatment is available for newborns carrying this risk. Therefore, the possibility of preventing the newborn baby to contract liver disease is there both before and after the baby is born.
Preventing the effects STD's have on a newborn starts with prevention. When an infected pregnant mother begins treatment, these risks are minimized significantly. While STD screening is mandatory during pregnancy, it is a good idea to get screened regularly if you at risk for contracting an STD. Regardless of whether you are trying to become pregnant it may just save your life and your unborn baby's life as well.
